CLYDE & LOCHAVEN RECREATION RESERVE 2 CONSTRUCT

H&B Fencing is passionate about the local community in which we operate and the future of the Southeast Melbourne landscape. We believe that providing integral recreation facilities that promote an outdoor lifestyle and sporting precincts positively impacts businesses, families, and the community as a whole.

We are proud to partner with 2Construct for the City of Casey’s Clyde and Lochaven Recreation sites, which involved services upgrades, along with substantial earthworks and landscaping.

The scope of works at Clyde Reserve includes two new sports pavilions, three new sports ovals, two netball courts, and eight tennis courts, along with associated sports lighting, car parking, and site-wide landscaping. Lochaven Reserve includes a new sports pavilion, two new sports ovals, two netball courts with associated sports lighting, car parking, and site-wide landscaping.

H&B Fencing undertook works over a two-year period, working closely with the head contractor, 2Construct, to align our installation schedule with the milestones of the overarching project timeline.

Throughout the project, we collaborated with multiple stakeholders—both internal and external. H&B Fencing worked alongside several contractors from a diverse range of industries during each site visit.

We pride ourselves on the consistent installation across the entire project and the dedication of our core team, who were involved in the multiple stages of the project.

As with any long-term project in Melbourne, the weather presented challenges, affecting site conditions on several occasions. It was a credit to 2Construct for mitigating the impacts of adverse weather, ensuring the site remained safe and workable.
